Mac partition manager for partition related operations in Mac with ease

Mac provides many advanced features and has been designed to fulfill the need of almost all classes of computer users. These facilities in Mac enable Mac users to deal with various applications and thus they need to deal with different categories of data. To store different categories of data separately, one need to create multiple partitions or volumes on the hard drive.

Similarly, at times, you want to delete old partitions, resize existing partitions or just format the volumes. Though you can perform these tasks with the help of Disk Utility, there are many easy-to-use Mac partition manager utilities available in the market.

As a computer user, every day, you access different data sources over Internet, among which some may not be that trusted and results in virus or malware intrusion. Sometimes, the infection of virus/malware is so intense that you have to format the volume and restore data from backup. In worse cases, in order to get rid of virus/malware infection, you may have to delete the partition.

Apart from these, sometimes you need more space for storing a particular category of data and hence want to add space in an existing partition. Similarly, you may notice that one of your volumes has some extra space, which you want to trim.

For all such operations, you can use the default Mac utility, the ‘Disk Utility’. But, some home users, who do not have much technical knowledge, face difficulty in operating Disk Utility. In such cases, third-party partition manager utilities are immensely helpful.

These utilities are developed with simple and interactive graphical user interfaces, which help in performing various partition related operations with ease. Stellar Partition Manager is a highly appreciated utility to manage Mac partitions. The utility incorporates options to create new partition, delete partition, format partition and resize existing partition. Moreover, the software provides some additional options, like ‘Hide Partition’ and ‘Reveal Partition’.

With the ‘Hide’ option of the software, you can hide any partition/volume. The hidden partition can not be seen in the list of volumes and thus prevents unwanted access. Similarly, the hidden Mac volumes can only be made reveal using Stellar Partition Manager utility.

Stellar Partition Manager is absolutely read-only and performs the operations, without any modification in the format of the data, stored in the corresponding partitions.
